New Student Dining Center

This new student center incorporated all the campus primary foodservice functions into one building. The various spaces included a production kitchen with bakery and catering workcenters; a board plan, all-you-care-to-eat dining facility and a retail cash operation venue featuring daily specials. The facility also included a coffee shop offering a variety of food options and catering support areas.

In the dining center, students have choices from stations where dishes are prepared made to order —Asian stir fry, Italian pastas, deli sandwiches, burgers, home-style comfort food, an endless salad/soup bar, brick oven pizza, and a dessert buffet.

At the 3900 Grill, Bethel’s casual campus restaurant, a flex meal plan offers Panini, soup, burgers, or pasta dishes. For quick fixes and late-night snacks, the Royal Grounds coffee shop offers locally-roasted Caribou options, made-to-order specialty drinks, smoothies, frozen yogurt, chocolates, pastries, and Freschetta pizza at night.

The total foodservice area, exclusive of dining rooms, is approximately 13,000 square feet.
