Grand Casino Hinckley has been through several major renovations since opening in 1992. Our work with them has led to 19 successful projects, including creating a central production kitchen that has been key to their extensive dining expansions. With each plan, we search for opportunities to create synergies that saves space and increases labor efficiencies. Our most recent work included a completed a renovation and expansion of Silver Sevens bar and lounge and the Cherries Grille. Silver Sevens involved a new island bar conveniently located between the casino and hotel and with a view to a new and expanded stage. The Cherries project includes renovating and expanding the former snack bar into a three concept 24-hour food court. Venues include Italian, BBQ, American, Grab & Go, desserts, bakery and beverages/condiments.

Past projects include a new production kitchen, the Winds Steakhouse and buffet renovation. The production kitchen supports all the venues on the property with a bakery, Garde Manger and soup & sauce production.  A banquet and room service kitchen and a new employee dining room were also included in this project. The Winds Steakhouse added another dining option with an intimate bar and dining room. The steakhouse has its own kitchen but we were able to design a high volume dishroom to serve the popular Grand Grill Americana as well. The buffet renovation project had the challenge of adding action stations to the existing serving area without any new space and to improve the efficiency of the dishroom.

The property features more than 2,000 slot machines, 28 blackjack tables, poker room, bingo hall and three hotels.
