The 12,300 square foot St. Clare Health Center foodservice area includes a new kitchen, retail foodservice and coffee shop, designed to support a 158-bed hospital. To accommodate the future renovation and expansion for 300 beds, soft space was planned around the department. The cafeteria lunch volumes are expected to be 450-500 transactions at lunch. The patient service model is Room Service and they serve 125 patients per meal.

Our scope of work involved assisting with the patient service, non-patient services and food production system planning and programming. Services included; schematic design, equipment selection, design development documents including MEP connection information; architectural, engineering and interior design coordination; complete equipment contract documents; bid review and construction administration.
