When Opus expanded their existing corporate headquarters, their goal was to create an attractive employee foodservice with an emphasis on heart healthy choices. We designed a full service kitchen with the food storage and production capacity to support in-house catering and employee café with a specialty coffee/espresso station for fast service.

Phase I was planned for 700 to 750 employees with the Phase II addition bringing the population to approximately 1,000 employees on a nine acre campus. The café features a grill, entrée station with display cooking, salad bar, deli and space for a future stone hearth pizzeria. Warewashing was designed to reflect management’s decision to minimize disposable tableware. The corporate headquarters addition is LEED Gold Certified.
